The apartments are situated on the main road in the centre of Roda, very near to great restaurants, shops, bars, and only fifty metres away from a long stretch of beach, but if you don't feel that energetic you may use the pool across the road or at the nearby hotels, all of which are free and open to the public.
About Corfu, Greece & The Village of Roda
Corfu lies to the north of the Ionian Sea at the entrance to the Adriatic. It is the second largest Island in the group known as the Seven Islands.
Roda, situated to the north of the Island (approximately 40 minutes' drive from Corfu Town) has grown from a quiet fishing village into a pleasant resort with a long sand and pebble beach that is safe for bathing. Roda is an easy place to chill out, with water sports, pony trekking and excursions for those who can only take so much sunbathing and relaxation. By night, Roda has lively bars which stay open until the early hours. Roda offers everything you are looking for in one package.
Being based in Roda gives you the opportunity to explore the north of the Island. Hire a car for the day to explore the beautiful scenery. Drive to the top of Pantocrator, the highest point on the Island, visit the monastery and take in the stunning views of the coastline of Albania, Corfu Town and the old village of Perithia. Buses run to Corfu Town and other resort areas, or hire a bicycle (the most popular form of transport) to tour the surrounding countryside, which is generally flat.

'Once again have visited the apartments and got a warm welcome from the hosts Pauline & George. If you are looking for well kept accommodation. Please try these apartments, it is located above the Itailan Restrurant, go to Number 5 and they will willing show what they have to offer, a god send this year was the Air Conditioning. A lovely BBQ was put on for the shared by all the guests and a night to remember. Another holiday not to be forgotten we will return.'
'Our holiday to Roda was wonderful. Pauline and George welcomed us and made our stay delightful. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean and perfectly adequate for our holiday needs. Counting the pennies and left over euros as I've left my beach towels with Pauline..... need to go back in September to collect them.!!! Anyone who is looking for a kind of old fashioned family holiday, with Greek hospitality and wall to wall sunshine should try Roda as a resort and wouldn't go far wrong by booking their stay at the Christofis Apartments.
